October at it's FINEST!

I am experiencing another first. This is my first October in Florida. Being October and still 70+ is both amazing and a shocker. Other "firsts" were the buying nude heels (important life step, I know), Farmers Market shopping, Cigar city brews, photos at a first time location, and hosting trick-or-treating at our very own home. I love firsts. It's like a breath of fresh air :)

And ps. The sweater picture, yes, it is for real. It got rather frigid on Tuesday morning that chilled me to the bone.

Summer has come to and end. October brings fall and all its bliss. (However, for the my first transition from summer to fall.... it still feels very similar... this could take some getting use to.)

Every month, when I put together this post, I am reminded of how wonderful of a life I have and how much love I am surrounded by. While the days have plenty of imperfections, the good will always out weigh the bad. I think this is what I value about this post. It brings me back for what I have in my life. The good moments. The people that make my life complete.  The pure bliss that I have had the privilege to be a part of. I hope you found the moments of your month that make a smile beam across your face.

And as I always seem to say... this month came and went with the blink of an eye.

August was a month packed with many adventures and very little time for sleep. I moved into my new home in Tampa, Florida with two other amazing women, shot my second wedding of the summer, flew to Indiana to see two wonderful friends be joined together by marriage, and have one of my best friends come and visit Tampa. Take a look at the few photos that capture the joys of this month.

I hope it was a happy month for you, filled with love and laughter. I hope to take a few minutes to slow down this month and enjoy every moment that I have been blessed with.

And here we are, once again my friends. May has gone by and the world has welcomed June with open arms. For me, May was filled with firsts, lots of tears, moments of great joy, moments of no joy, and at times, complete chaos.

Wooooo.... What. A. Month! 

Boy was it fun, but boy am I pooooooooped. So here's to getting more sleep this month, but keeping the good times rolling and being open to what is ahead. All I have to say in all of this is how thankful I am that God is driving the path for my life and not me. Can I get an Amen on that one!?

God has continued to amaze me as the month of April came, was, and is now gone. I am still adjusting to life as a Floridian (and whatever that looks like) and enjoying the ride along the way.

Ready. Blink. And done. 

That was the month of March in a wrap. It was filled with amazing moments and amazing people, but a blur it was. I think I have officially been sleep deprived for an entire month, but boy was it fun.

March included:

Officially settling into my new job with BayCare Health System & receiving my first paycheck
Experiencing my first official Florida Strawberry Festival
Becoming an official Floridian by getting my FL driver’s license
Going to my first Hockey Game to watch the Lightening (Lower level seats and free!)
My family coming to visit
A college friend coming to stay
Yankees vs. Red Socks Spring Training Game
My 24th Birthday
Purchasing my first beach floppy hat since beach days will be a regular habit 
Beach days, fun days, family days
Getting soaked in my first Florida “it’s sunny outside, but now it’s going to down pour” rain
High school friend visit day X2 (my heart was so happy)

You can’t tell me that isn’t a wonderful month with a pretty little bow on top. I am one lucky girl and blessed beyond belief. I am welcoming the month of April with arms wide open. God has blown my mind with the path He has put me on. It is beyond my wildest dreams. I thank Him daily for where He has placed me despite the trials I had to overcome to get here. And I tell people around me on the regular … “Have I told you recently how much I love Florida???”
