Monday Mayhem I Narrative

Oh Monday, why do you come so fast! With a weekend packed with friends, fun and continued process of moving (ie. errands, painting, organizing, etc), my alarm went off this morning and it took everything in my body not to curse at it as all I wanted was another hour (or two or five) of sleep. However, I will say, Monday exhaustion is usually a sign of a weekend well spent. On the down side, coffee becoming your saving grace to make it at least until lunch. I sit staring at my coffee between sips hoping for that pep in my step.
What would we do without coffee, especially on Monday mornings!? Grumpiness and frumpiness would take over the city, but no fear! Coffee is here!

Enjoy your Monday and be thankful that another beautiful day has come :)

Monday Mayhem I Narrative

You. Can. Do. It.

Tell me you can’t smile when you see this photo!?
Don’t you wish your coffee smiled at you! It  would probably make Monday more bearable. Let’s be serious.
In other news… SpongeBob is real, but in need of your help to find the ocean. He is drying up! Help save him and search your streets to get him back to the ocean, singing and dancing.

In all seriousness, I am exhausted, like sunk below the “recommended lowest point you should arrive at” low. I need a time out with a CAPITAL T! But I don’t think life gives those, so you keep charging forward… or take naps in the bathroom stalls at work. One or the other, either works.
That feeling when your eyes are rollig back and you have no control of them...
Can you tell where my mind has been lately? Ha. I want my feet to hit the floor and my attitude to say, "I am ready to change the world!" I am on my way back people! Snapping back and changing the world one hour at a time.

But with pure excitement, despite the exhaustion, I tell you that I have the most beautiful bride and handsome groom to photograph this weekend as they commit to a life together as a couple. So something wonderful to look forward to seeing images of next week.

Enjoy the day all & don't forget to SMILE :)

Monday Mayhem I Narrative

No frump face today ladies and gentlemen, today is Monday and the Fourth of July is this week! For a lot of people this week is marked by vacation or celebration or just a quality day off work. To say I am looking forward to it would be an understatement, the Fourth of July just so happens to be my favorite holiday. A day full of sun, time on the water (hopefully), backyard grill outs, fireworks, and freedom. I just love it! A chillaxing day filled with fireworks, friends, family, and foooooooood! No added pressures on this holiday. The only requirement is relaxation.

On that note I introduce to you this week’s version of Monday Mayhem.

Many of you might have seen a groupon that came through. I wanted it. Real. Bad. It took all I had not to buy it. I would put any and all beverages in this all year around! It is referred to as the Suzy Kuzy! Genious right there if you ask me!

I have been looking at movers to get some goods for me a little ways away and deliver them to this pretty little box I have reserved for them to sit in. This may or may not be me this week…

Or I may invest in this…

Jealous, I know…

And in my outdoor endeavors, for the sake of my own shoulder and my pretty little red car… I know this is what happens when I am not looking. They are out to get us!

You secretly know it is true too. Don’t judge!
Happy Monday all! Hope you got a giggle or two! Bring on the week and bring it on in style!

Monday Mayhem I Narrative

Monday’s tend to be frumpy 99.9% of the time. Friday’s however, tend to be fabulous, fun days! It’s amazing how much an attitude changes within a span of four days… and this depicts it perfectly..

It my efforts of optimism, I am trial running my version of “Monday Mayhem.” My head is full of randomness and music lyrics for every sentence spoken throughout the day. So I thought I would entertain you with what passes through my crazy mind and what treasures I find throughout the week of normal life.
My goal is to turn that frump into a happy dance and turn that Monday frown upside down.
So to start my first display of Monday Mayhem… here we are…

This is an introduction to my daily life. For whatever reason, this song goes through my head at least once a day… I can’t help it. It’s like a disease
This is what I wish my car looked like. Red shells surrounding, ready to pounce when I can’t handle the dumb dumb in front of me any more. Ha. Yes, road rage at it’s finest! I pray God gives me patience every day when I am in the car. Please continue to pray for me :)

Who’s been following me at the airport!? This was me on Friday… and again this evening…

And then there was me... and as my little 7 year old friend Brice would say to me with a disgusted face... "YOU'RE WEIRD!"

Start your Monday off with a smile :)
