Dear Photograph...

I stumbled across this perfect little photo and it filled my tummy with butterflies, made my eyes well up in tears, and spread a smile across my face all at the same time. It is amazing how a single photo can draw so many emotions without saying a word. This is why I love photography. This is why I believe you can never have to many photos. These are moments you can hold onto forever.
Please, take photos. Share the memories. Keep the memories for a life time.

Until next time...

Real Life meets paper

This is where 'real life' meets paper. The wedding day is pure bliss and gone in the blink of an eye. The countless hours spent making the day into what your eye deems as perfection were worth every minute spent, but to hold onto those memories? That is where I come into help. After the initial blog post, the bride receives this special little book to add to her coffee table (or night stand for regular looking). It holds every image for her to review. To me, this little book is priceless. It is your fairy tale on those deep pages. Smiles and love fill each page and a heart full of happiness can't help but overwhelm you. So here we are... the book of all books...
From here images may be ordered into prints to hold those memories on your new walls and the entire collection be had if you so desire to look back at those 'must have' shoes that gave you such joy to place your freshly painted toes in the afternoon of your wedding.
These moments are priceless.
I find myself flipping through again and again the pages of each bride's fairy tale with pure joy and praising God for the love he allows us to experience.
For the Mr. & Mrs. Andy Kennedy and Mr. and Mrs. Ty Riddle this is reality. Real life has met the paper and these memories are theirs forever. Where are your memories?

Until next time...

Monday Mayhem I Narrative

Fun Facts:

On this very day in 1998 the US created the new Twenty dollar bills. This was a part of the anti-counterfeiting efforts.

A quarter has 119 grooves, while a dime has just one less groove.

Heinz Ketchup leaving the bottle travels 25 miles per year.
SAY WHAAAATTT???

Happy Monday all!

Lucky Girl I Personal

A lucky, lucky girl am I. My parents took time out of their chaotic schedule to come and spend a week in Tampa annnnnnnnnnnnd bring all of my treasures (or junk as my mom would say) down to my new home in Florida. I guess that means I am becoming more official in my residency. To say they had a car load would be an understatement. If you know my mother, you should ask her to see photos. But no fear, their golf clubs made it down to play a couple of rounds during Florida's off season.

I am so very thankful for the evenings I had to spend with two of the most influential and amazing people in my life. The moments walking along the water, looking at homes, asking those off the wall questions of each other, and landing two free desserts for the week. That's right folks! We got dessert free, at not one, but TWO restaurants this week. (I think that is success it itself.)

I am beyond blessed not only to have people like this in my life, but to call them my parents and to be loved to the moon and back. 'Thank you' doesn't begin to say it, but I am lost for words that would encompass what my heart feels. So thank you and I love you both to the moon and back as well :)

Until next time...

Monday Mayhem I Narrative

Determination.

It will make you or break you. But if you fight hard enough, you can become or accomplish anything your little heart is set on. After all, the best things in life don't come easy, do they? In my case, they don't. You have to fight like crazy and throw in a slick pull of the enemies hair or a nice nail to the arm. You want it!? Go get it! Don't let anything or anyone stand in your way. You are your own worst enemy. Show the world what you are made of.
BECOME the seahorse.
I believe in you. Do you believe in yourself?
I hope this made you laugh, but also made you realize your dreams are worth fighting for.
Until next time...

Housewarming I Personal

Labor day weekend, we invited our Florida friends and families to come and celebrate a new stage in each of my housemates lives, we have a home. We want our home to be a place of warmth, welcome, and hugs.
We made yummy snacks to fill the bellies of many and had some of the most wonderful hands to prepare them.

We were overwhelmed by the love we were surrounded with for many wonderful hours of the best company. It was like a wave came over our home and we were engulfed by hugs and a house busting at the seems with laughter.
A guest cut the water mellon in the shape of hearts. How cute right!?
We are so thankful for the love. We are grateful for each of you.
Until next time..

We Shall Never Forget

Eleven years ago today, America changed for all generations living and to come. Despite the horror, the sadness, and the destruction, we continue to look up and ache for the love of the one that remains true in this sinful world, my God, my Rock.

Sure, I can tell you where I was, what I was wearing, and how the chills went up my spine that morning, but none of that matters. The only thing that matters is our response. Did we fall to our knees and cling to the only thing that is constant and the only one who loves with such grace and mercy? He is the only one who took us out of that rubble and the only one who can keep us from it.
He is God. Today is Tuesday. And I am here for His purpose.

Go HORSE

We are embarking on the greatest season of the year, football season. This Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts kick off their season and have big shoes and countless die hard fans to please, including myself. Football season puts a little extra spark in your eye and this year should be interesting to say the least. So many changes, but forever, I bleed blue.

Mr. & Mrs. Riddle I Wedding

It is amazing to see how every love story works its way out perfectly and exactly in God's timing. Where people come from, the trials they face, and somehow, you end up face to face with the person who makes you happier than a kid in a candy shop. They make your heart stop beating for the moment they take your breath away. Ty and Monica met in college while Ty was play on the basketball team. As Monica would put it, "We are two people that never should have made it, really. We believe our relationship was all a part of God's plan. There's no other explanation."

Girl, you are stunning!
Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Ty Riddle
Sweet, Sweet mama and her baby boy...
I had the opportunity to shoot Ty & Monica's engagement shoot this last fall and I posted a one photo wedding preview, just a couple of weeks ago. This was simply the grand finale.
Enjoy a short, sweet clip of the new couple's beautiful summer wedding.

I hope this made you smile and feel giddy with love. If you didn't catch the Kennedy wedding, take a peak by clicking here. And don't forget to check out the one year anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Stang. Spread the word, share the love.
